My Own Private Idaho

The British School at Rome is at the edge of Villa Borghese close to Piazza del Popolo. A couple of nights ago I watched Gus Van Sant's My Own Private Idaho (1991) for the first time. I knew that it had some scenes in Rome but hadn't realised that they are mostly of River Phoenix stumbling around Piazza del Popolo.
